While some of the family was away at Youth Conference, Mom and I took the little kiddies for a swim!!

All excited on the car ride over!

Ahh the crystal clear water...
Tan Man showing off his tats "Weady Mom? Weady?"

A good time was had by all! Can't wait to go again!

Love is their only Happiness...

I just love this scene. Definitely in my top ten. That is how good it is.

I think I have numbers dyslexia.

I was going to post a picture of my new shoes..

But you will have to settle for a picture of my new haircut.

The bangs are a little short, but I am trying to give them a shot. With that being said, this is probably the only picture you will ever see of them.

Crying

I never was much of a crier. The most I ever cried was while watching Little Women when Beth dies. This week I have cried a lot. I think I am becoming more like my mother. She cries while reading articles about little kids and while listening to books on tape. I always took that as a sign of her big heart. She cares about the ridiculous animals she pretends to hate. I admire her for her ability to cry.
This sunday I got sustained to be the Relief Society president in my singles ward. All week I have been crying, mostly about silly stuff. Sunday I cried because I was grateful for the examples of strong women in my life. I know so many women(my mom, aunts, boss, friends, etc.) who are independent but love their families and the Savior. I guess I was crying because all these women had influenced me in some way and had led me to this point in my life. Even though I feel completely inadequate for this calling, I am grateful for the great examples in my life.

A Day of Rest

A Walk with the Bob's Bunch

My favorite part of Sundays(besides church and naps) are our family afternoon walks. They pretty much rock. This afternoon was particularly entertaining, especially when I got Tanner and Sarah to run with me while screaming that a bee was chasing us. Those kids will do anything that I tell them to.

"I would have kept running too if my death depended on it"- Emily

* Emily would like me to mention that she took some of these pictures

PULL

A favorite Idaho past time is going out into the mountains and shooting objects(trees, fruit, rocks, etc.). I have lived in Idaho pratically my whole life, but I have never gone shooting. On thursday I got to try it out.

I was surprised to learn that clay pigeons were not actually pigeons made from clay. They are in fact round discs of clay that look like this-

I was slightly disappointed that they were not actually pigeons made from clay. It just seemed a lot cooler. Shooting was fun even though it does a number on the arms. I am proud to say that I actually hit something- even if it was on the ground!

How am I to know what is going on in your life?

Emily said that she didn't know what was going on in my life because I haven't been blogging. That is a lie- I see her everyday. To keep Emily happy, here is an update on my life.

This week I
-finished another semester of college
-went back to my two summer jobs
-organized my room
-have gone to bed by ten every night
-offically became an adult
-ordered a new pair of vans
-returned my overdue library books
-thought about the future

I have listened to this song a million times. I hope you enjoy it!

I have no words

I have a present for you...

My roommate Joslyn made this "bundle" of flowers for me in her floral design class.

Normally you could tie one of these around your wrist.

Not this baby- it weighs about 5 pounds.

Thanks Joslyn!(even if it is a dirty flower!)

It's Snowing...Again!

There have been 30 inches of snow in Rexburg since January.
This is my car-the one in the middle.

This is Bailey and I trying to uncover my car. Notice my weather appropriate clothing.

Here we are still trying to uncover my car.

Lucky for me, Bailey has a ice scraper that actually works.

And then of course my doors were frozen shut. Here is Joslyn trying to climb over me.
Bring it on snow! Bring it on!
