My FHE group went bowling on Monday and I actually did pretty good! I got the 2nd highest score which for those who know me is pretty amazing. There it is the number 131 in the bottom right hand corner!

Basketball Jones

I have got to say that I love being the manager for the guys basketball team. I like being in charge making sure everyone is at practice, calling people, and making sure everything is organized. It is kind of fun! I have also started to love the game of basketball again. I had forgotten how much I really loved it. I like how the guys on the team give me their stuff to hold before the game or at practice-it shows that they trust me. At first I was really out of my comfort zone but I think I am learning something!

What am I going to do with my life??

I might change my major or minor. I am not really sure what I want to change it to, so I am open to suggestions. What do you think I should do with my major? Any ideas on what I should major in?

Things I have learned this week.

- I don't have much to put on a resume
- I can be mistaken for a basketball coach if I walk around with a notebook pretending to know what I am doing
-The University Bookstore is only there to cause me great pain
- I can ask for my parents help
- I am capable to doing things I thought I couldn't do
- I still love fantasy novels

Out of Africa

This is seriously amazing! Go here. I am taking a class on the history of Africa and my teacher told us about this site. I have always wanted to do something that could help people in Africa and this might be it.

Watch out for that TREE!!!

Pine trees can be dangerous! Extremely dangerous! Let me explain. Today we(my friends and I) went to take some holiday pictures in the snow. Joslyn our photographer asked us to go stand near this pine tree. I start walking towards the tree with my head bent down so I won't get stabbed by the branches. Little did I know that there was a branch sticking out right in the direction my face was going. So I ran into this branch with my face! I started yelling "attack of the TREE" over and over again. I look back over my shoulder and there is this really cute guy walking by and laughing at me. I swear everyday I find new ways to embarrass myself! So watch out for pine trees. You might get stabbed in the face!

I am definitely a fan of turkey and Thanksgiving.

I am waiting to register for next semester so I thought I would post this picture of my beautiful face.

So I was trying to decide if I wanted to become a vegatarian or not. I thought yes because I am not really a big fan of meat. Then I was talking to my brother and he reminded me how much I like crunchwraps from Taco Bell. They have meat in them. I realized how true that was and there went my idea of being a vegatarian.

I have Confidence in Me

My hometeacher from last year came to visit me yesterday. He told me something that kind of took me aback. He said that I had more confidence then last year, that I seemed more sure of myself. What made me more confident? I don't remember any big event that made me change, so maybe it is a million tiny moments. Will I continue to change? What will I be like next year, in five years, or in ten years? I know that change is inevitable but sometimes it scares me.

Today as I was walking to class, I saw a guy wearing a hot pink shirt and earphones that looked like they belonged to a space alien. It made my day. Even now when I think about it, I smile!

I really don't understand you..

You ignore my emails and then you start talking to me a week later like nothing happened. Then you say that you will pick up some stuff from my house for me but never show up. You don't even call to say that you can't. Could you please explain yourself to me? I am having a hard time understanding.

Why am I studying rocks?

I am taking a Geology class this semester and we had to draw a picture of the Rock Cycle. So what if I can't make perfect circles. I just have this feeling that I am going to sit by someone whose drawing is beautiful and looks like they took days and days to complete it. Just my luck.

A friend called me this morning and asked if I wanted to go home for a couple hours. So I went home, ate some good homemade food, danced with my younger siblings, talked with my parents and had a grand old time. Now sitting back in my apartment I wish I could go back home. I just love being there.

-New roommates who are super COOL! They are freshman and are very adorable.

I have never been to a Rodeo. I really want to go to a Rodeo. I think I am going to make it my goal for the summer, to make it to a Rodeo.

Diet Coke + Mentos = Not so big bang

After getting all excited to put mentos in diet coke to see what would happen, it was quite a disappointment. It is suppose to shoot the Diet Coke 20 feet into the air, but no such luck for us. As I was running away from the Diet Coke it barely fizzed at all. By the time I had turned around it was already done. I am sure the neighbors had a good laugh, since we invited them out to watch. I am going to have to do a little experimenting because I want it to work. This could become an expensive experiment.

Sisters

I have been wondering lately, how much my younger siblings(esp. Kimberlyn), will remember me. They are such a big part of my life right now and I know I mean alot to them at this moment. I just wonder if they will remember any of the fun stuff we do and if they will have any memories of me. I hope that I will still have fun times with them when I am older, that I won't just be some old weirdo. I hope that I will be a "cool" older sister.

Hot Hot Hot

Arizona is a very hot state. When I walked out of the airport I thought to myself " What did I get myself into?" There is a reason I like Fall and that is because it is sweater weather. I love sweaters therefore I love sweater weather. Needless to say it was about 106 degrees everyday except maybe for the hour that it rained. I had never seen it rain that hard ever. So I guess my trip to Arizona was a sucess because I got to experience hot weather and very hard rain! We also visited a Native American Museum which had this cool piece of art that represented the earth and sky.

Weed Killer

I killed danelions today. I don't feel bad because they were making our backyard look like a white trash trailer park. I just couldn't stand it anymore so I started picking them. Most of them where huge, taking up large plots of ground. Danelions are usually pretty, at least for a weed, but not when all the tops have been picked off. I love it when Sarah will bring in some for my mom with all the tops picked off. Maybe she thinks they look better that way. By the time I was done I had this huge pile and I am not even done with the yard. Gives me something to do tomorrow.

Resume

I was trying to put together a Resume today, when I realized something. I really have NO experience especially in the job area. I know that people should hire me but they don't know that. They will just look at my resume and say "What only one job- and pulling carpet at that". With that I am doomed to spend my whole summer looking for a job and yet never getting one. This could turn into a troublesome experience.

So We Went to the 4 Legged Zoo

Yesterday, I went with Sarah on her field trip to the Zoo. I don't ever remember visiting the Zoo when I was in Elementary School, so it was a fun experience. All the kids would scream when the animals would move or do something unexpected. One of the monkeys would throw itself against the glass when it saw its keeper. That was quite exciting. It was fun to be able to look at all the animals and learn about their habitat. I was just wondering what other peoples memorable zoo experinces have been. I think I like the tigers the best- they look so much like big cats!

I need a blue sky holiday...

I am absolutely in love with sunshine, grass, blue skies and summer. Saturday was so beautiful with the sun shining. It was so hard to concentrate on homework when all I wanted to do was lay in the sun. I just love those lazy days were you just lay around and do nothing. Unfortunately this means I now have twice as much to do on Monday, but it was totally worth it. Sunshine makes me happy!

Junk Change!

Well in an effort to avoid cleaning, I decided to count all the change in my purse. I have no quarters, but I have an abundance of pennies, nickels and dimes. The total came to $3.40. I could buy chapstick with that, 3 candy bars, a Like it at Cold Stone or maybe a card for myself. I am sure there are endless possibilities.
